Our Shopping Cart Hammock is as adorable as it is durable, safe, and practical. We really thought of everything! See for yourself as we deconstruct the Binxy Baby® Shopping Cart Hammock ™:

FABRIC

The Shopping Cart Hammock’s fabric is fashioned using two layers of high-quality upholstery weight fabric and reinforced seams. It’s also a blended fabric of cotton and spandex, which makes the material safe and soft against your baby’s sensitive skin while also giving it a little stretch to fit standard-size shopping carts. And while soft to the touch, the fabric isn’t soft when it comes to holding your baby; it’s as durable as a bag holding 50 pounds of potatoes.

PLASTIC CLIPS

You attach the Hammock to a cart with two 12-inch plastic clips (one on each end). Safety and weight-tested, these durable clips can hold up to 50 pounds.

VELCRO STRAP

To further secure the Hammock to a cart, we’ve also included a Velcro strap. The combination of the Velcro strap with the two weight-tested plastic clips keeps the Hammock from tipping, sliding around, or coming unhooked from a shopping cart.

SECURE SEAT HARNESS

After laying your baby inside the Hammock, secure your baby using the Hammock’s three-point seat belt.

INFANT CARRIER SAFETY STRAP

We’ve designed our Hammock to hold not just a baby but also a baby inside an infant car seat. Bring the infant carrier attachment safety strap across the infant car seat, buckle it, tighten it, and feel confident knowing your baby and the infant car seat are secure in the Binxy sling.
