Such a genius idea I’ve never felt safe placing car seats in the shopping carts. I was previously pushing baby in the stroller at the store and my husband though I was paranoid for not wanting to just set him in the cart. So far I’ve only placed my 2 mo olds car seat in the Binxy Baby since the Colorado weather is too cold I’d rather not take him out of the car seat. This is a great product but I would really like to see a small cover or canopy for it. Some babies get over stimulated and having a cover would even be great to be able to shield them from the sun going from cart to car. Seriously though, everyone asks me about it wherever I go!

I wasn’t sure about buying one of these but figured I could always try to return it. I haven’t been able to run errands with my 5 month old for a few months now because he refuses to sleep in his car seat anymore and anyway, how much shopping can you do with a stroller and a hand basket or your car seat taking up 99% of your cart. Like I said, I was unsure if this would even work for us since he’s at that stage where he flails like crazy and constantly lunges himself backward (that’s a stage right? lol). I was afraid he’d be too big and would try to throw himself out of it. I was also super skeptical about trusting this thing to securely hold a car seat. Well, on our first try, my husband and I left him in the car seat. It was a super quick trip and I figured if the thing wasn’t gonna hold, one of us would have hands on the baby. I was worried for nothing! The car seat was super secure the whole time and baby didn’t fuss, probably because he was loving his new view. The second time I tried grocery shopping with him, by myself, without the car seat, close to his meal time and with a pretty long list. It went flawlessly! He was calm and quiet the entire time, I was able to fit everything I needed in my cart including a massive case of water bottles and a huge pack of toilet paper. I wish I’d bought this sooner! Definitely one of those you-don’t-think-you-need-it-til-you-have-it items and then you wonder how you ever did without it! I’m ordering a back up one for if (when) this one gets filthy!
